Private Couples Massage Workshop: A Whole Day Just for the Two of You
Picture a quiet spa that is entirely yours, warm oil infused with plant extracts, and your partner’s hands learning exactly where to touch. At the couples massage workshop at Spa Kessem BaMaga (15 HaPalmach St., Or Yehuda, near Tel Aviv), you learn to massage each other with one-on-one guidance from Baruch Serusi, and you leave with a new kind of touch that keeps going long after you get home.
Duration: about 5.5 to 6.5 hours · Price: given after a short conversation
The Whole Spa, Only Yours
During the workshop there are no other guests: a large jacuzzi, a fish spa, a lounge and coffee corner, a shower and restroom, and the treatment room. Herbal tea, dried fruit and light refreshments are waiting for you. In our couples treatments each partner has their own room, but in the workshop you are together in the same room, because you are learning to massage each other.
You arrive through a green courtyard with fruit trees and ornamental ponds, where all you hear is birdsong and running water. It is hard to believe you are in the middle of the country.
Why learn at a spa and not at home? At home you have to prepare, tidy up and clean, and usually there is no massage table, good oil or real quiet. Here everything is ready for you, and the time belongs to the two of you alone.
How the Day Unfolds
Baruch wears the spa uniform throughout the workshop, and you set your own boundaries. The comfort of both of you comes before every step.
What You Will Learn
Touch is one of the oldest ways we communicate. It expresses love, support and closeness, and it can melt away tension and stress. In the workshop you learn step by step: first an explanation and preparation for touch, then a demonstration, and then your own hands on your partner’s body, with Baruch beside you encouraging, guiding and correcting in real time. Your partner is the model, so everything you learn is tailored to the exact body you will be massaging at home.
What It Gives Your Relationship
Couples who come to us quickly discover how much they did not know about themselves and each other: who loves to receive and is less keen to give, who is the opposite, and which touch really feels good. Learning to massage together is learning to listen without words. You leave with your own couples toolkit, to ease pain after a long day or to pamper with love, and with a shared experience that brings you closer.
No previous experience is needed. You both experience both sides, giving and receiving, because that is how real learning happens.

After the Workshop: Keep Practicing at Home
Learning takes practice. Split your practice time equally, so you both experience giving as well as receiving. Start from the sequence you learned, use the oil you blended, and give feedback as you go. Many couples return for another workshop: like watching a film a second time, you catch more each time, and massage at home becomes natural.
Who It Is For
Looking for a couples massage class that is both an experience and real learning? For couples of any age, for a special occasion, as a romantic gift, or simply to strengthen your bond. Open to all couples, secular, religious and traditional, of any orientation, in complete privacy. Planning a surprise? It matters that you both know what is waiting for you, so Baruch is happy to talk with your partner in advance too.
The workshop is led by Baruch Serusi, an experienced therapist who has been running private workshops for couples for more than 30 years and is certified in a range of touch techniques. He is with you throughout, demonstrating, guiding and answering every question. Baruch’s certificates

Is the spa private just for us? Yes. During the workshop the whole spa is private for the two of you: a large jacuzzi, fish spa, coffee corner, shower, restroom and treatment room.
Do we need any massage experience? No. Baruch teaches from the basics, step by step, and guides you in real time.
Is this a massage course? Do we get a certificate? No. It is a couples workshop for the experience and for use at home, not a professional course, and no professional certificate is given.
Will we be in the same room? Yes. In the workshop you are both in the same treatment room, because you are learning to massage each other.

What does the workshop day include? An opening conversation (and a toast if you are celebrating), fish spa, jacuzzi, hands-on learning in which each of you receives a roughly 90-minute four-hands massage, a couples body scrub (or salt peeling on cold days), and a closing conversation.
Which parts of the body do we learn to massage? A full-body massage: head and scalp, shoulders and neck, arms and legs, back and buttocks, belly and chest. You learn both relaxing touch and focused touch for pain and tension.
What if there is a height difference between us? No problem. We sometimes move from the treatment table to a shiatsu mat so you can both massage comfortably.
